Pokémon Scarlet & Violet players, rejoice! A new update (version 2.0.2) has been released, following the previous launch of The Teal Mask DLC. This update focuses on fixing various bugs, including issues related to Pokémon HOME transfers. Read on to discover the full patch notes and learn about the improvements made in this update.

One of the significant bug fixes in this update is related to the recording of victories against NPC Trainers scattered throughout the game world. Previously, under certain conditions, victories against these Trainers were not being recorded. As a result, players were unable to claim rewards tied to winning a certain number of battles. For instance, the rewards from Pokémon League representatives in the Paldea region or Ogre Clan members in the land of Kitakami could not be obtained.

Fortunately, this bug has been fixed in version 2.0.2. Players who experienced this issue can now challenge the affected NPC Trainers again to record their victories. Once the victories are recorded, players will be eligible to receive the rewards that were previously unobtainable.

Another major bug fix in this update addresses the inability to transfer certain special Pokémon to Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet from Pokémon HOME. This limitation was specifically affecting Pokémon that were brought into Pokémon HOME from Pokémon GO, even if players had already obtained a Pokémon of the same species in Scarlet or Violet prior to version 1.3.2.

With the release of version 2.0.2, this bug has been resolved. Players can now transfer these special Pokémon from Pokémon HOME to Scarlet and Violet without any issues. This fix ensures that players have full access to all Pokémon, regardless of their origin or previous versions.

Aside from the two major bug fixes mentioned above, the latest update also includes several other bug fixes. Although the details of these fixes have not been explicitly outlined, players can expect an overall improvement in the game’s performance and stability.

If you’re a Pokémon Scarlet & Violet player, it is highly recommended to download and install the latest update (version 2.0.2). This update addresses critical bug fixes related to recording victories against NPC Trainers and Pokémon transfers from Pokémon HOME. By updating your copy, you can now challenge the NPC Trainers, claim previously unobtainable rewards, and freely transfer special Pokémon between Scarlet, Violet, and Pokémon HOME.
